detector.guru 1.2.0: Deep Analysis with two-model evidence

Deep Analysis is now live with two complementary model results, a combined AI-likelihood score, saved evidence, and a one-credit upgrade path from Standard.

detector.guru 1.2.0 is live with Deep Analysis, a new way to examine an image with two complementary detection approaches and see how their evidence compares.

Standard or Deep: choose the right level

Standard Analysis remains the fast, focused check and costs 1 credit. Deep Analysis costs 2 credits and runs both a Detection model and a Reasoning model on the same image.

If you start with Standard and want a second perspective, you can upgrade that result to Deep for 1 additional credit. The upgraded result stays linked to the original analysis.

Two model results, one combined signal

Deep Analysis shows the result from each model separately:

  • Detection model examines image signals associated with AI generation.
  • Reasoning model provides an independent contextual assessment and explanation.

The release also adds Combined AI likelihood, the average of the two model scores. Keeping both supporting results visible makes agreement and disagreement easier to understand instead of hiding everything behind one number.

Evidence that stays available

Deep results are saved in your private History. You can return to the combined score, both model results, and the available explanation from the dedicated result page without running the analysis again.

A signal, not proof

AI-image detection is probabilistic. Compression, editing, screenshots, and unfamiliar generation methods can affect a score, and two models may disagree. Treat every result as evidence to review alongside provenance, source context, and human judgment—not as proof of how an image was created.

Try Standard or Deep Analysis, and read the analysis disclaimer before making a high-stakes decision.
